Departing Disney World

December 4, 2010. Check out day. After an exhausting week we had planned a family breakfast before we had to depart for our flights. After a little commuting detour we finally made it to O’hana at the Polynesia for a character breakfast with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch.

Kayla and Jared with Stitch

After breakfast we stopped at the Grand Floridian to see the beautiful holiday decorations.

Scott and I in front the gorgeous tree in the lobby.

Perhaps this will be the Yellen Christmas card this year?
Like us, Mom and Dad already shot their Christmas card before the trip but this is a lovely photo.

Scott getting ready to play for the guests in the lobby…not!

The Grand Floridian has a life size Gingerbread House made with 1,050 lbs of honey, 140 pints of egg whites, 600 lbs of powdered sugar, 700 lbs of chocolate, 800 lbs of flour, 35 lbs of spices and of course, Disney magic!

They had white deer figures set in beautiful poinsettia beds. I’m sure it’s pretty at night all lit up.

Scott and Jared, two peas in a pod.

I have to go back and look at pictures but we’re pretty sure this is the same man that help with our wedding 12 years ago. He’s still a cutie!

And then it was time to leave so we hopped in the carriage with our drivers and left…ok we actually took the monorail.
