It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

December 9, 2011.  The cookies are made, well at least all the dough is.  Half are baked and the rest will be done when we get home from our trip.  The tree is up, decorated and behind an expen, or 'jail' as we like to refer to it, to protect it from Daisy.

In the evening we went to the Turtle Back Zoo to see their Christmas lights.  I hadn't been there since I was a little girl.

It was really cold!

They had zoo themed lights rather than the traditional lights.

Giraffes and Flamingos.

Turtles, of course.

Elephants.

Prairie Dogs and Scotts

Even the humans grew tails while we're at the zoo.  Ann's scarf seems to be a beard and a tail.

The wolves were there in light form.

and in  person.

Cougars.

The petting zoo animals were in their stalls.

This was the biggest pig I've ever seen.  It actually did get up and walk around.

Now this is a hair-do.

Someone needs an orthodontist.

Some of the animals were dangerous.



Steve seemed to be Dr. Doolittle and roused all the animals.
